Welcome to Tehachapi Mountain Boer Goats.We are located in the beautiful Tehachapi Mountains in between Bakersfield and the Mojave desert. It is a land of 4 seasons full of oak trees and where lots of apples, asian pears and cherries are grown. We truely appreciate the cooler summers and I am sure our goats do also.
We started raising boer crosses in 1997 using a full blood buck....Romeo. From the beginning we have had a good success rate with our competition wethers. In 1998 we added just a few fullbloods. Starting in 1999 we got real aggressive and very selective with the full bloods we started bringing in to develope our own lines. We are proud to say that we feel we now have some very beautiful quality kids to offer you for your breeding program.
Our herd is tested annually and undergo a fine nutritional and health program. We have had minimal problems to date and pride ourselves in having a healthy herd. We also have had our own feed made and offer it for sale at our ranch.
